Chez Genèse
The name of this website hints at my love of French culture. I’ve often wondered if I was a Parisian mademoiselle in a former life. Or if there’s still time to be one in this life?
Be still my French-loving heart upon learning about Chez Genèse in downtown Greensboro—a French-inspired restaurant featuring a cozy atmosphere, delightful yet unpretentious food, on a mission to advocate for and raise awareness about people living (and thriving) with disabilities. J’adore!
Distance prevents me from eating at Chez Genèse as often as I would like. However, I take advantage of every opportunity I can to eat there. Rumor has it I left a work conference early to partake in a little déjeuner there last fall. And on a recent road trip to Charlotte, I made a slight detour into Greensboro to enjoy an egg and gruyère sandwich on a rosemary biscuit—certainly a step above my typical road trip fare.
I’m looking forward to my next visit to Chez Genèse. Maybe there’s a work conference coming up nearby? ;)
